Due to the continuing expansion within the Oxfordshire area, I am now seeking Assistants to work alongside me in the Banbury and Oxford areas. There are 2 positions available in each of the above areas.

Musical Minis Assistant

The role of an Assistant entails working alongside the Leader and assisting them throughout the session.

Duties include the following:

• Setting up the MP3 player ready to start the session
• Set up the table with instrument of the week, story time etc.
• Take register as each child arrives
• Controlling the MP3 player throughout the session
• Assist in handing out and collecting instruments
• Assist in handing out any props used eg scarves etc.
• Clean instruments between sessions
• Assist packing up and loading car
• Interacting with the children throughout the instrumental part
• Generally assisting the Leader throughout the class as and when required

The person must be enthusiastic and love working with children. A musical background is not necessary but a dynamic person with bounds of energy is.

The Assistant role is only a temporary position as the ideal candidate will be trained up to becoming a Leader during their ‘on the job’ training for an Assistant. Full training will be provided for both Assistant and Leader roles.
